David Kerkhoff designed the Genki Desu Font Family, published by Hanoded. Genki Desu offers two different styles and package options for the font family.
One of those frequently used Japanese terms that don’t actually mean what you believe they mean is Genki desu. O GenkiDesu Ka? (How are you?) or Genki Desu (I’m feeling fine) are two ways to use it as a greeting. Genki can also be translated as “energy” or “vigor.” Although Genki Desu is one of my favorites, I am not an expert and can only speak a limited amount of Japanese(shame on me). Perhaps simply because it sounds so pleasant!
